Tentative Settlement Agreement Reached with OE3

A negotiating team from United Contractors met with Operating Engineers Local No. 3 this spring regarding an extension to the existing collective bargaining agreement. Through a relationship of trust, partnership, and good faith bargaining, United Contractors, represented by our Co-Chairs, was able to reach terms on an early extension agreement. This was done in conjunction with industry peers and represented a decision that was in the best interests of the industry. Full details will be released once the agreement is fully ratified by all parties, but the economics are as follows: 

• June 28, 2026     $5.01* ** 
• July 1, 2027         $4.01** 
• June 28, 2028     $4.01** 
• *$1.00 pre-allocated to Pension Fund 
• **includes $0.01 per year increase to the Contract Administration Fund
