I believe strongly in contractor participation. That is why I have encouraged Kiewit leaders to become involved with UCON and take ownership of supporting our local craft workforce and the broader industry. An association is strongest when its members are willing to participate, share their experience and help address issues that extend beyond their individual companies.

Through my involvement on UCON committees, I have had the opportunity to contribute to important industry discussions and see firsthand the value UCON provides to its members. Serving on the Board  allows me to take that involvement to the next level by having a more direct role in helping shape the organization’s priorities, direction, and future.

UCON's current Board of Directors and Nominations Committee are focused on ensuring the Board reflects the diversity of our growing membership. With this goal, they have decided to appoint two additional members to the Board, identifying two specific priorities: adding Southern California representation for greater regional balance, and including a specialty contractor/smaller contractor to represent this group. Based on our election results, and these priorities, the two appointed Board Members are:

I hope to bring the perspective of an associate member, contribute my industry experience, strengthen relationships between contractors and associates, and support UCON’s continued efforts to advocate for and advance the construction industry.
