Political Advocacy

Over the last decade, UCON has helped secure more than $90B in public works infrastructure in California.

Member Service:

UCON’s Political Advocacy and Government Relations team improves, expands, and protects union contractors’ interests, influencing public policy, political and regulatory advocacy. Together, we do the hard work for members - building coalitions, marshaling political support, driving local and state ballot measures, ensuring regulatory fairness, fostering agency relations, and assisting with complex compliance requirements.

Regulatory

UCON offers free regulatory compliance assistance and promotes and advocates for fair specifications with public agencies. UCON provides key testimony to state agencies on behalf of industry and promotes grassroots action among members as well as informs and educates the industry on regulatory changes through comprehensive seminars and up-to-date bulletins. UCON is a leading industry voice in the fight for a fair and reasonable regulatory environment.

Safety Services

United Contractors provides the necessary knowledge, tools, training, and support to members. We enable them to meet the safety requirements set for the industry. 

UCON assists with citations and construction safety regulations brought about by interaction with Cal/OSHA or public agencies, general contractors, and private owners for our contractor members. We provide a wide range of services that will ensure your company and employees are protected.
