U.S. DOT Proposes Changes to DBE Program
Watch UCON's On-Demand Webinar
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued a proposed rule that could significantly affect the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. While the full details are still under review, these changes may impact contractors and subcontractors working on federally funded projects, with implications on state projects.
UCON held an industry-wide webinar on Tuesday, October 7th to inform members about these changes and how they may impact their business. The webinar was free, and open to everyone, regardless of membership, and recorded for those who were unable to attend.
The informational webinar discussed the U.S. Department of Transportation’s updates to the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. A special thank you to our partners at the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) and attorney Bob Rosin, Leonidou & Rosin Professional Corp., for providing valuable insight and context on this important issue.
