Labor & Compliance Classes

Led by UCON’s Labor Member Services Department, these free classes give contractors practical tools to navigate labor relations, compliance, and workforce requirements. Covering prevailing wage, dispatch and hiring, PLAs, apprenticeship, and more, these trainings help members avoid costly mistakes, strengthen compliance, and stay ahead of industry challenges—delivering measurable impact for contractors and the industry.
 

Communication Masterclass

A three-session, Zoom-based masterclass for leaders, managers, and supervisors that builds the people skills construction teams rely on—adapting to different communication styles, listening with empathy, conveying messages clearly, and building trust and credibility to lead with authenticity. Capped at 25 participants to maximize interaction.
 

Project Engineer Bootcamp

A focused, virtual series for Project Engineers and rising support specialists that covers the essentials for success. Over three half-day sessions, participants learn what their boss expects, master key project processes, and build practical skills through hands-on exercises and real-world case work. Capped at 25 participants to ensure engagement and interaction.
